Anne Frank and her Sister Margot Were in the Bergen Belsen Concentration Camp:
In early November 1944, Anne was put on transport again. She was deported to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp with Margot, her sister. Their parents stayed behind in Auschwitz. The conditions in Bergen-Belsen were horrible. There was a lack of food, it was cold and wet and there were contagious diseases. Anne and Margot contracted typhus. In February 1945 they both died owing to its effects, Margot first, Anne shortly afterward. Anne was 15 when she died. Though her writings survived, for decades, historians listed the date of her death as occurring on March 31, 1945 — a mere two weeks before the Bergen-Belsen camp was liberated by the American forces.

Otto Frank was liberated from Auschwitz by the Russians and during his long journey back to the Netherlands he learned that his wife Edith had died. Once in the Netherlands, he heard that Anne and Margot were no longer alive either.
Some of Anne Frank's Most Famous Quotes:
“What is done cannot be undone, but one can prevent it from happening again.”She hated war and spoke out against it. "What is the point of war? Why oh why can't people live together peacefully? Why all this destruction?" Anne Frank, May 3, 1944.

A Quick Look into Anne's Short Life
On 3 August 1943, Anne Frank wrote in her diary: "It's my turn for the bathroom. I wash myself from head to toe, and more often than not I find a tiny flea floating in the sink (only during the hot months, weeks, or days). I brush my teeth, curl my hair, manicure my nails, and dab peroxide on my upper lip to bleach the black hairs — all this in less than half an hour."Source of Photos
